Larissa Colton has been an RN for the last 11 years, all of which have been in critical care. She currently is a flight nurse at Guthrie Air with over 1000 transports in her flight career. Her favorite patients are the critical pediatric patients. Larissa graduated from Arnot Ogden’s School of Nursing in 2013 and obtained her BSN at Mansfield University in 2014. Since then she has dedicated her focus to critical care transport, both prehospital and interhospital care. As a lifelong resident within Guthrie Air’s service area, she is especially passionate about the critical care needs of her community. She’s found that the best experiences and lessons come from the vulnerable scenarios and is always willing to have the difficult conversations to overcome barriers, thus promoting great patient care when the minutes matter.
