Chris has been a firefighter and EMS provider for over 30 years in Eastern Pennsylvania. In his current role as Executive Director of the Macungie Ambulance Corps he is responsible for oversight of all aspects of a 5,000 emergency call per year Advanced Life Support ambulance service. His experience in MCI management comes from an endless effort to improve the EMS system in the region. These efforts have led to the creation of a county-wide MCI improvement plan and an operational Incident Management Team.

Chris also serves the community as

· A telecommunications operator for the Lehigh County 911 communications center

· Fire Chief of the Laury’s Station Volunteer Fire Company in North Whitehall Township

· An adjunct instructor for Bucks County Community College, Lehigh Carbon Community College, George E Moerkirk Emergency Medicine Institute at Lehigh Valley Health Network and as a local level instructor for the Pennsylvania State Fire Academy

· Leadership Council Member of the Lehigh County Joint Rehab Task Force

· President of the Lehigh County EMS Association and Secretary of the Lehigh County Fire Chiefs Association.

He holds certifications as a Nationally Registered Paramedic, Pro-board Fire Officer IV, Hazardous Materials at the Operations Level, Fire Instructor II, Fire and Life Safety Educator II, Vehicle Rescue Technician, and Traffic Incident Management. He is also a certified PA EMS Instructor and American Heart Association CPR and ACLS instructor.
